Lyon Built Ventures Ltd. ("Lyon Built", "we", "us", "our") operates lyonbuilt.ca and is based in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Why we collect it
We use your personal information to process and ship your orders, respond to your questions and quote requests, provide customer support, send order and shipping updates, request product reviews by SMS where you have consented, improve our website and products, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Phone calls and AI chatbot
Our phone line and the AI assistant on our website may record and store the content of your conversations so we can answer your questions, follow up on your order, and improve our service. Please do not share payment card details or other sensitive personal information through the chatbot. Chatbot messages are processed by our AI service provider to generate replies.
SMS review requests and CASL
After a purchase, we may send you a text message asking you to review your product, but only where you have provided consent. These messages comply with CASL. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation and no further review texts. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
How your information is stored and shared
We store your information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform and order/payment processing), Supabase (secure database and file uploads submitted through our forms), and Twilio (SMS review requests and, where applicable, phone communications). These providers may store data on servers located outside of Canada, and your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We share personal information only as needed to provide our products and services, or where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by applicable law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to request that we delete it, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
