Which skid plate does your sled have? required

No poly skid plateIf you can see your aluminum casting under your machine between your A-arms you have no poly skid plate on your machine. We supply a lower belly pan skid plate that bolts directly to the machine and to the lower portion of the front bumper. This is our strongest option. If you have an extreme poly skid plate this option can be used with some modifications. If your machine is equipped with a factory poly skid plate, this front bumper and skid plate setup can still be used with some minor trimming of the factory poly skid plate. This setup will give you the best overall protection. Deep snow poly skid plateThis skid plate measures approx 4.5" in between the A-arms. We supply a lower skid plate that fastens to the deep snow skid plate and to the lower portion of the front bumper. Full body skid plateThis skid plate measures approx 8.75" in between the A-arms, and actually hangs out past the bottom of the A-arms. This is a one piece bumper design (doesn't have a lower skid plate attachment).

Materials

We use 6063 aluminum pipe for bumper construction, a superior choice compared to the commonly used 6061 aluminum blend by all other aftermarket companies.

6061 is known for its structural brittleness, while 6063 has the ability to absorb energy effectively. Which means our bumpers have superior strength over our competitors. We made this an important part of our design because in some cases, it allows our front bumpers to be repaired after enduring forceful impacts. While trying to bend back 6061 will almost always result in cracking.
