With the Gen 5 front bumpers please take note if you have a poly skid plate on your machine and if so which one. We will supply you with the right lower skid plate attachment. Skid plates for the Ski Doo are included in the price.

No poly skid plate - we supply a lower belly pan skid plate that bolts directly to the machine and to the lower portion of the front bumper. This is our strongest option. If you have an extreme poly skid plate this option can be used with some modifications.

Deep snow poly skid plate  - we supply a lower skid plate that fastens to the deep snow skid plate and to the lower portion of the front bumper.

Full Body Skid Plate - this is a one piece bumper design (doesn't have a lower skid plate attachment).

Building Process:
Lyon Built operates in the East Kootenay’s of British Columbia, Canada, where we design, build, tig weld, and powder coat all our bumpers and aftermarket products.

We use 6063 pipe for bumper construction, a superior choice compared to the commonly used 6061 blend by other aftermarket companies.

While 6061 is known for its structural brittleness, 6063 has the ability to absorb energy effectively. Which means our bumpers have superior strength while maintaining flexibility. We made this an important part of our design which allows for bends during manufacturing. And in some cases, it can make our front bumpers repairable after enduring forceful impacts.

Our bumpers are designed with both durable function and visual appeal. Ride with confidence and pride.

Powder Coat:
Our standard practice involves in-house Prismatic Brand powder coating. For color options, and custom colours please visit the Prismatic Powders website. Custom colours are available upon request and may incur an additional cost.
